Team Lead Platform

As Team Lead Platform, you will build the technical foundation that our development teams rely on every day.

At Budget Thuis, you will be the driving force behind our container and cloud platform. You ensure our infrastructure is scalable, secure, and future-proof. You work at the intersection of Cloud, DevOps, and Development, translating technological possibilities into reliable platform services while ensuring our Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure work seamlessly together.

What you’ll love doing

• Leading and coaching an international team of Platform Engineers

• Designing, managing, and optimizing Kubernetes clusters

• Automating build, deploy, and scaling processes (Infrastructure as Code)

• Developing an internal Developer Platform (IDP) solution

• Implementing security, monitoring, and compliance measures

• Collaborating with development teams to ensure containerized applications run smoothly

• Troubleshooting complex issues and providing fast, sustainable solutions

• Cost-aware optimization of our Azure Cloud environment

What you bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field

• At least 5 years of experience as a Team Lead, Tech Lead, or Platform Engineer

• Proven expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration (experience with FluxCD or ArgoCD is a plus)

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Ansible)

• Experience in Azure Cloud environments and CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions is a plus)

• Familiarity with tools such as ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ, and modern monitoring stacks

• A natural leader: strong communication skills, analytical, and pragmatic
