As a Senior Android Developer, you'll bring leadership, vision, and a proactive attitude to our brand-new in-house App Development team. Collaborating with another Android and two iOS developers, as well as designers, product managers, and testers, you’ll ensure effective communication and innovation throughout the app development process. 

In this role, you’ll develop new features, fix bugs, maintain our Android app, and provide the seniority needed to guide app developments in the right direction. With your strong communication skills, you’ll act as a bridge between business and technology, ensuring smooth collaboration between front-end and back-end teams.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop new features, fix bugs, and maintain the Budget Thuis Android app;

• Lead with seniority and vision, steering the future direction of the app;

• Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring effective communication;

• Collaborate closely with front-end and back-end teams for cohesive development;

• Contribute ideas and strategies to the overall vision of Budget Thuis.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of relevant Android development experience;

• Proactive decision-making and leadership skills;

• Strong communicator who enjoys interacting directly with business stakeholders;

• Thrives on new projects and works well in a team environment

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Development

• Expertise in building and maintaining high-quality apps

• Proficiency in Dutch is a plus, but not required.
