Are you ready to take on a new challenge and make a significant impact at Budget Thuis? 


What is your role as a .NET Developer?

At Budget Thuis, we are all about creating our own software. Our nine development teams work closely together using agile (Scrum) methods. We give our teams a lot of freedom and responsibility for the applications they build.

What will you be working on?

We are excited to build a new backend system for one of our telecom products, and we need your help! We are setting up a new team made up of both current team members and new folks like you. In this role, you will work with your teammates to design and develop the new applications. While most of the work will focus on the backend, we will also create some internal UIs for our back office teams.


We have a blueprint from a previous project on how to set up a modern application, but we always appreciate new ideas to make it even better. An important goal is to maintain a high level of test automation so we can release updates frequently and minimize repetitive tasks. As a developer, you will be expected to write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for your code.

What do you bring?

In addition to your drive to improve yourself and the organization, we believe that will excel as a .NET developer if you possess:

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience developing commercial applications in .NET / C#;
  • Effective communication skills in English, Dutch is a plus;
  • Experience with event-driven and microservices architectures;
  • A completed education in IT or a related field is preferred;
  • Experience with DDD is a plus;
  • Experience in utilizing AI technologies is beneficial;
  • A genuine passion for technology, innovation, and emerging trends;
  • A cooperative and positive attitude; you are also not afraid to voice your opinion.


We offer you

  • A gross salary between €3.500 and €5.800 depending on knowledge and experience (based on 40 hours);
